We offer group visits with guided tours and learning activities for schools

ShelterBox is a perfect family experience for a rainy day in Cornwall

School visits
ShelterBox HQ welcomes visits from schools on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  Our experienced volunteers will able to show you around and make sure you get the most from your visit.
There is no entry fee to the Visitor Centre as we believe there is more value in inspiring our young visitors to get involved after their visit in their community – so we ask visiting school groups to make a commitment to fundraise for us.

We have a variety of resources to support you in your efforts which can be downloaded from our website or you can pick up a special fundraising pack when you visit.  If you’ll be bringing a donation with you please let us know in advance and we can arrange for a member of our Donor Support team to present you with a certificate of thanks.

Rotary groups
The visitor centre is designed to show how we’ve evolved from a Rotary Club’s Millennium Project into one of the world’s leading humanitarian aid agencies.  A visit will offer your club the chance to discover the full story of ShelterBox today and what being an official Rotary International Project Partner means in action.

To celebrate that Rotary clubs have been part of ShelterBox from the beginning, we have a display of Rotary club banners that have been given to us by visiting Rotarians from around the world.

We are always pleased to welcome Rotary clubs to ShelterBox HQ and are able to offer day or evening visits and after visits we can provide a club meeting space.

Clubs, community groups and coach parties
In the past we’ve have welcomed Beavers, Guides, college students, holiday groups and the WI – if you’re interested in visiting please get in touch and let us know as much detail as possible about your visit.
